ROC NATION IN TALKS WITH RIHANNA TO PERFORM AT NYC PUBLIC CONCERT FOR NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND

Jay Z’s Roc Nation is in talks with Rihanna to have her perform at the splashy public concert in the Flatiron District during the NBA All-Star weekend on Feb. 12.

Details were revealed yesterday that the concert plans to shut down several busy streets around Fifth Avenue and Broadway from 23rd to 26th streets for the event, leaving some neighbors dreading traffic snarls.

We hear Roc Nation has been in discussions with RiRi for some time, but no deal has yet been reached. Meanwhile, Jay and Bey didn’t seem fazed by neighborhood grumbles while at lunch Monday at Los Angeles restaurant Commissary at the Line Hotel.

Spies saw the happy couple, along with a perfectly dressed Blue Ivy, huddled in a corner table by the window at the busy restaurant. But according to patron and iron furniture builder Christine Vert, the service was “terrible!” because the wait staff “was overwhelmed with Jay Z, Beyoncé, adorable daughter and security crew,” as she posted on Instagram.

Vert added, “One man tried to take a photo and security made him delete it!”
