Hailing all the way from the rough streets of Mount Vernon, NY, rapper CainGitRight, a key player in the Stick-N-Move/ Mighty P.O.C.(Put’em out crew) movement, sets forth to release his first solo project titled “History Remembers Kings”, an ode to all Kings and Kings alike. After a three and a half years stint in prison for weapons possession and an almost one year hiatus from the rap scene GitRight says he is back in full effect and can’t wait for the streets to hear what he has to say on “History Remembers Kings”. “I just had to take my time to figure out how I wanted this mixtape to sound, times have changed and I wanted to keep up with the times” said Caine when asked about his hiatus, but with street bangers like cut the check and stash house it definitely doesn’t feel like he ever left. While he hasn’t given an exact release date for “History Remembers Kings” he says”its going to be a hot summer, not only because of the weather” so I guess we can expect to be hearing this long awaited mixtape blasting from people’s car stereos real soon with summer right around the corner. “Long live the king”!
