SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 3 |
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the newest smartphone in the Note lineup, will feature a slightly larger 5.7-inch display than its predecessor, in 1080p resolution.
It packs a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 3GB of RAM, a 13MP camera with smart stabilization, the S Pen stylus, and all new software features like Pen Window, Action Memo, and the classic Multi Window. And of course, Samsung tossed out the glossy plastic and replaced it with fake leather.
The Samsung Galaxy Gear is the companion to the Galaxy Note 3. It’s a smartwatch with a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display and a built in 1.9MP camera. When paired over Bluetooth, it can show notifications, control media, and more. It will have an app store to itself too. However, the battery only lasts a day.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will go for $349.99 with a new two year contract, while the Galaxy Gear will go for $299.99 and can be bought in Jet Black, Wild Orange, and Oatmeal Beige. I’m down for Oatmeal Beige, let me tell you.
Both are priced very high, but can be justifiable. Sprint customers, will you be buying these devices?
