FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. DENIED VISA TO ENTER AUSTRALIA BECAUSE OF HIS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ARREST

FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR.
Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s plans to appear at events Down Under this week have come to a halt.

The 37-year-old boxer was denied a visa to enter Australia because of his history of domestic violence, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.

The visa was denied just hours before he was set to fly to the country on a private plane with a 30-person entourage.

Mayweather was scheduled to appear at two pricey dinners in Australia on Thursday and Friday nights.

Mayweather’s publicist, Max Markson, said he plans to appeal the decision, which could have financial repercussions for Mayweather’s team, according to The Herald. Refunds are being made available for attendees who request them.

Mayweather has been enjoying an otherwise relaxing week. On Tuesday, he Instagrammed a video of himself getting a “fish pedicure” “in another country.” Several days earlier, he shared a snapshot from the beach in Jamaica.
