CARBON MONOXIDE LEAK IN WISCONSIN SENDS 81 TO HOSPITAL

81 people were hospitalized in Wisconsin on Saturday after a carbon monoxide leak broke out during a minor league hockey game between the Dells Ducks and Ice Hawks in Lake Delton.

The cause of the leak was the rink’s resurfacing AKA the Zamboni. It began with players feeling dizzy and complaining of headaches, then one fainted, and they knew something was up. The monoxide began to creep into the crowd sending people rushing out of the building. All in all 81 people were treated at St. Clare’s, as far as we know everyone will make a full recovery, it could have been much worse.
