TEEN RECEIVES 44 YRS FOR FATALLY SHOOTING ANOTHER TEEN IN THE BACK FOR HIS AIR JORDANS

A 19-year old Richmond, Virginia teenager named Willie Daquan Lee has been sentenced to 44 years in prison for shooting, and killing, a Virginia Union student.

The latest case of sneaker-related violence features the most extreme of cases; a student was murdered in cold blood for refusing to give up his Air Jordans.

According to reports, the teen attempted to rob 20-year old Kahron M. Lee (not related) of his Js, and shot him in the back when he tried to run. 

This news comes just before Black Friday, and one of the most anticipated sneaker releases- The 'Black/Infrared' Air Jordan 6.

There's no telling what some folks are willing to do for a pair of $170 sneakers, so if you're going to be out in the mix on Black Friday, keep your head on a swivel because some people just don't get it.

It seems like we're seeing a story like this every other week, but people are still doing outlandish things to get their hands on a new pair of sneakers.
