(PICS) ALLEN IVERSON MAKES NIKE STOP MAKING ZOOM FLIGHT 96 IN HONOR OF HIM AND KOBE

ALLEN IVERSON
A special edition Nike Zoom Flight 96 was scheduled to release this year, but Allen Iverson has made sure that it won't be happening.

Two versions of the kicks, one Sixers style and the other sporting a Lakers theme, were schedule to release in the U.S. as part of a tribute to Iverson and Kobe's iconic 1996 draft class.

The sneakers did drop overseas and at select shops, but now Iverson's lawyers are looking for compensation for those pairs sold, considering they feature A.I's #3 and a Sixers colorway which warrants an unlawful use of Iverson's likeness.

As most everyone knows, Iverson is a Reebok guy and has a collab releasing next week.

Due to A.I's disapproval, The Swoosh has decided to cancel the release of both the 'Allen Iverson' and 'Kobe Bryant' Zoom Flight 96 releases.

So, if you were lucky enough to grab a pair early- hang on to 'em because it doesn't appear any pairs will be releasing in the future.
