POLICE ACCUSED OF SENDING TEXT MESSAGES FROM VYBZ KARTEL'S PHONE IN AN ATTEMPT TO FRAME HIM IN ONGOING MURDER TRIAL

VYBZ KARTEL
Defense attorney Pierre Rogers, who is representing Kahira Jones, in the ongoing Vybz Kartel murder trial blast the prosecution and the police force in the Home Circuit court.

During his closing arguments, Rogers told the 11-member jury that the police force acted maliciously against his client by fabricating evidence.

Rogers expressed his disdain towards the police force, telling the jury that they acted nasty.

“It disappoints me and I suspect that it disappoints you… If this is not a set-up then what is? If this is not a conspiracy, what is?” Rogers questioned.

Rogers say the text message that say Clive “Lizard” Williams was chopped up fine and disposed of was sent from the Blackberry smartphone while the phone was in police custody.

That means it was sent from one of the police officers in the cyber crime unit.
The attorney also questioned why cyber crime cop Patrick Linton left the keys on top of his safe. He said that is to facilitate the malicious acts carried out in the department.

Vybz Kartel, born name Adidja Palmer, and his co-accused Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, AndrĂ© St John, and Shane Williams are on trial for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams, who authorities say was killed on August 16, 2011 in Havendale over two missing guns.

His body was never found.
