Florida Gators linebacker Antonio Morrison (pictured) quickly found out that his bark was more detrimental than his bite when he was arrested early Sunday morning for allegedly barking at a police dog and resisting arrest outside a Gainesville after-hours club.
Police were responding to a small fracas that had broken out at a club, when the 19-year-old linebacker reportedly approached a parked police cruiser containing a police dog.  As Morrison walked by the cop car, he allegedly barked at a dog whose name is Bear. Not surprisingly, the dog barked back.

The young man was then reportedly escorted by police to the front of the cruiser, where they attempted to handcuff him for barking at the animal or “interfering with a police canine.”  Morrison allegedly resisted arrest but was eventually placed in cuffs.

According to the 6’1″ 240-pound bruiser, the dog barked at him first, so he followed suit with a “woof-woof” retort.

Meanwhile, this latest police entanglement for Morrison makes the second one in less than a month.  Just last month, the young player was arrested for reportedly punching a bouncer.

According to Morrison’s coach Will Muschamp, the young gridiron player is in the dog house with his playing organization.  “He has been suspended from the team and will miss at least two games to begin the season,” Muschamp told the media.

Morrison could face jail time if he is found guilty of his latest crime.
