DODGERS PHENOM YASIEL PUIG BEING SUED FOR $12 MILLION DOLLARS FOR BEING A GOV'T INFORMANT

YASIEL PUIG
The Dodgers’ Cuban Sensation Yasiel Puig is reportedly being sued for $12 million by another Cuban man who says Puig made false allegations that lead him to a seven-year sentence in prison.

The Los Angeles Times says the lawyers of Miguel Angel Corbacho Daudinot has filed a federal suit in Florida, claiming he was subjected to “prolonged arbitrary detention and torture” after Puig and his mother testified against him in 2010 in a human trafficking trial.

“The complaint refers to Puig and his mother as “informants” for the government,” said the LA times.

Puig did not want to comment on the subject, but has hired a lawyer as he is aware of the situation.

The same man who is suing Puig had also filed a similar suit against Reds closer Aroldis Chapman in 2012.
