BURGLAR HACKED WITH MACHETE AND SHOT WITH HIS OWN GUN IN ATTEMPTED HOME INVASION

A Florida thug was shot with his own gun and hacked with a machete after he allegedly tried to rob two men in their home.
Nartavleon Evans, 26, was being treated at Tampa General Hospital after he had the tabled turned on him by Clifford Gray and his roommate, whom he tried to rob at their N. 10th St. home late Wednesday, the local ABC affiliate reported.

Gray told the station he woke up shortly before midnight to someone knocking on his door.

When he answered, Evans jammed a gun in his face, he said.

The gunman forced his way in and a scuffle broke out between Evans, Gray and Gray's roommate, who was not identified.

The gun went off several times during the fight, sending rounds into the ground and the ceiling, Gray said.

"It's a fight ... He's busting — we're still fighting over the gun and he's still squeezing off rounds," Gray said.

Gray eventually grabbed a machete and began hacking at Evans, who dropped the pistol.
One of the roommates shot him once port.in self-defense, the station reported.

Evans was arrested and taken to the hospital, where he was reported in critical condition.
