CHIEF KEEF |
According to a report on gossip website TMZ, the rapper is being sued by the 15-year-old mother of his first child, born last year.
Court documents show Keef, 17, earns roughly $13,000 a month in recording royalties — not counting the under-the-table cash he is paid for nightclub performances.
Keef, real name Keith Cozart, was arrested on January 15, 2013 after a juvenile court judge was tipped off to Keef’s appearance in a music video filmed at a gun range. His arrest came almost 2 weeks after his stepbrother was shot dead by gang members.
Keef was previously ordered to stay away from guns (and gun ranges) as part of the conditions of his probation.
He was released from a Chicago area juvenile facility on March 14, 2013, after serving a 60-day sentence for violating his probation.
Keef’s mother was 16 when he was born. He is estranged from his biological father.
