Bra? Humbug! Let ’em breathe!
Dozens of topless women marched through the streets of Manhattan yesterday for “National Go Topless Day” — as they protested for the right to bare their chests anywhere a man can.
“We say there is nothing wrong with the female nipple,” said a topless Karen Heaven (at right), one of the event’s organizers, to a crowd at Bryant Park. “My dog has six, I have two, but I can be put in jail for showing my nipples. It’s 2012 —What are we thinking?”
Onlookers took pictures and videos as half-naked protesters held signs reading, “Equal Topless Rights For All,” and sang, “Let ’em breathe” to the tune of The Beatles’ “Let It Be.”

Protesters said there were similar events scheduled in 10 cities around the world and about 30 in the US. — culminating with a demonstration in front of the White House.

This is some civil rights I can get behind.
