5 SHOT AT RUCKER PARK IN HARLEM NY AFTER FIGHT BREAKS OUT SPURS INVESTIGATION BY AUTHORITIES

At least three people were shot during an annual Harlem basketball tournament.

The shooting happened at Rucker Park in Harlem, which is located at the intersection of 8th Avenue and 155th Street.

In total, six people were taken to St. Luke's for treatment. At least three of those people were confirmed shot.

Former Knicks point guard Nate Robinson was at the game, but was not playing. He was not injured.
According to the founder of the Entertainers Basketball Classic, the shooting happened at halftime after a fight broke out in the stands. The stands were cleared because of the fight. Moments later, shots were fired, apparently from the street, into the court area.

The conditions of the victims are not known.

Founder Gregory Marius says in 31 years they have never had a problem. There are security checkpoints before people can enter the court.
