The rumors of the iPhone 5 having a larger screen are true. Apple is testing a four-inch screen, although the best candidate will actually only measure 3.95 inches. Despite the larger display, the new iPhone will still be the same size as its predecessor.
To keep the phone the same size, Apple is designing the top earpiece and bottom home button to have a smaller base - making room for the taller screen.
The new 3.95 x 1.94 inch screen will have a 640 x 1136 resolution, and may include a 3D camera. The new phone will also introduce Apple's own maps/navigation app, leaving the Google Maps app behind. It is expected to run on iOS 6.
