50 Cent Releases Trailer for “All Things Fall Apart” DVD

Curtis “50″ Cent Jackson has released the trailer for his drama filled movie, All Things Fall Apart, set to hit DVD February 14th.

In the Image Entertainment film, 50 Cent plays a college football player named Deon at the peak of his career on the verge of entering the NFL.

But when things in life take an unexpected turn for the worst, his football career becomes in jeopardy.

The self-realization film finds Deon realizing a startling truth that sets him on a quest to better himself, reunite his family, and pick up the pieces of his life.

Frank Ocean To Release Def Jam Debut This Spring

In an interview with BBC News that was released earlier today (January 5), Frank Ocean revealed that since his relations with Def Jam Records have been repaired, both parties are ready to release his highly-anticipated second album this spring.

Despite past frustrations with the label, Ocean simply stated, “we’re cool,” and that “there is a new album coming. I’m super proud of it.”

When asked if he wished he handled the release of his first album, Nostalgia.Ultra, differently with proper marking and promotion behind him, he said “no.” He then followed up his answer about the album and charts not mattering with: “I make pop culture.”

The interview was conducted due to Ocean’s claiming of the #2 spot on the BBC’s Sound of 2012 list. Other topics discussed included the initial signing of his Def Jam deal, and the loss of his New Orleans studio back in 2005 due to Hurricane Katrina. The entire interview can be found here.

Scott Storch Finally Off That Yayo and Back in the Studio?!

It looks like former superstar producer Scott Storch has finally gotten himself clean and sober and is back in the studio putting in work. Storch is famously known for producing monster number one records for everyone from Beyonce to Lil’Wayne, and then snorting more than $30 million of it up his nose, as well as foolishly giving former girlfriends Paris Hilton a two million dollar necklace and Lil’ Kim a Bentley! Talk about trickin’! Side note: That Bentley he gave Kim was later repossessed! 

A video has just surfaced of Storch back in the studio. He looks like he gained about 30 pounds (which is good, considering), and he looks to be joined by one of the Dirty Money girls, but I could be wrong. Check him out creating a new beat in the video below.

Rev Run’s daughters, Vanessa and Angela Simmons, owe nearly a half million dollars in back taxes: report

The celebutante daughters of Run-DMC beat master Rev. Run appear to be deadbeats when it comes to taxes.

Vanessa and Angela Simmons, made famous by four seasons of “Run’s House” on MTV, owe nearly a half million dollars in back taxes, according to the Detroit News’ Tax Watchdog column.

Angela Simmons, 24, owes a whopping $225,910 based on liens filed by Uncle Sam in New York and by state officials in Sacramento, Calif., the newspaper reported.

Vanessa, 28, is behind to the tune of $224,568 according to similar filings, Tax Watchdog said.

A publicist for the hip-hop princesses did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The sisters recently told Jet magazine they hoped to turn their Pastry Footwear line into a fashion empire after studying the success of the Phat Farm and Baby Phat lines launched by their uncle Russell Simmons and his ex-wife Kimora Lee.

They called their reality TV fame a mixed blessing.

“The best is being able to inspire young people who look up to us to star their own business. The negative is feeling like you’re always being judged,” Angela Simmons told Jet.

The soccer star has teamed up with H&M to design a new line of bodywear that will launch in stores in February. The collaboration spent 18 months to develop the line, which the company says will focus on “fit, function, comfort and design.”
The debut collection will consist of nine underwear styles for men, as well as a variety of T-shirts, vests, pajama bottoms and long johns.
Beckham doesn’t need to do much to catch peoples’ attention in the new ads.
The 36-year-old stands proud in the series of black and white ads, some show him wearing boxer briefs while others have him in a tank top.

Utah cop killed, five officers wounded in drug-related shooting

OGDEN, Utah - Gunfire erupted as anti-drug police served a search warrant in an Ogden neighborhood, fatally wounding one officer and injuring five other police and a suspect, authorities said.

The shots rang out before 9 p.m. Wednesday as police converged at a residence on Jackson Avenue, police spokesman Lt. Tony Fox said.

The six officers were hospitalized along with a suspect, Fox told The Associated Press.

Ogden police said in a statement early Thursday that agent Jared Francom died from his wounds following Wednesday night's drug-related shooting.

Five police officers from multiple agencies remain hospitalized with serious to critical injuries. No more information on their conditions was released.

The sole suspect in the shooting is at a local hospital under guard, with non-life threatening injuries.

No names have been released.

The shooting occurred as an anti-drug strike team was serving a warrant. The Standard-Examiner in Ogden reported that more police responded upon word of at least one officer shot.

Police blocked off the area from 34th Street and Jackson Avenue to 32nd Street and a SWAT team took positions.

Authorities have not released information on how the remaining officers and the suspect were shot. The paper said police eventually surrounded the suspect near a backyard shed.

The residence was secured after the arrest, and at 9:45 p.m. police announced that there was no longer a threat to the community, the paper said.

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith Divorce: Laura Wasser Reportedly Retained By Jada

Despite denying divorce rumors back in August, it appears that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith may be finally going their separate ways -- at least according to In Touch Weekly.

The magazine is reporting that Jada Smith recently met with celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who has represented the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, and Kim Kardashian.

A source tells In Touch that Smith has "finally begun to take steps to dissolve their marriage," even reportedly turning down a role in Keanu Reeves directorial debut to spend time with her kids during this "difficult time."

The magazine first reported that Will and Jada had separated in August after 13 years of marriage. The pair issued a statement in response to the allegations: "Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact."

The star couple have two kids, Jaden and Willow -- whose careers were reportedly at the root of theSmiths' marital problems -- and Will Smith has one son from a previous marriage.

If Jada has indeed met with Wasser, she'll be in good hands.
