BRENNAN CLAY FILING FOR DIVORCE AFTER REVEALING HIS WIFE CHEATED WITH COWBOYS RB DEMARCO MURRAY

One day after accusing Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray of sleeping with his wife, Brennan Clay said he is in the process of filing for divorce, according to TMZ Sports.

On Sunday, Clay, who played with Murray for one season at the University of Oklahoma, published a series of tweets claiming Murray had an affair with his wife, Gina D’Agostini.

Clay and D’Agostini have been married for four months. According to TMZ, Clay is meeting with lawyers to discuss his options.

Clay says in the report Murray was once his idol and he considered Murray to be “the person who I looked up to the most as a running back and as a friend.”
However, that all changed when Clay found an old cellphone of D’Agostini’s, which contained more than 50 “inappropriate” text messages with Murray.

In addition to the text messages, he reportedly found “graphic” pictures he believed the two sent each other.

Clay set off this sordid drama with a series of tweets on Sunday.

A rep for Murray declined comment to TMZ, saying that the fourth-year running back is focused on the Bears, whom the Cowboys play in Chicago on Thursday night.

Murray leads the NFL with 1,427 rushing yards (almost 400 more than the second-ranked rusher) and 288 carries, while scoring eight touchdowns. Murray is on pace for 1,903 yards, which would rank ninth all-time for a single season.
