'LOVE & HIP-HOP' STAR STEVIE J ARRESTED FOR OWING OVER $1 MILLION IN CHILD SUPPORT

Reality TV star Stevie J was rudely awakened this morning by cops who arrested him for failing to pay over $1 million in child support.

According to a source (not TMZ), the cops stormed the Atlanta home of Johnny Cabell — Stevie’s manager — searching for Stevie who thought Cabell’s home would make a good hiding place.

According to sources, Stevie already knew the cops were searching for him under every rock in town. But someone tipped the cops off to Stevie’s whereabouts. 

Here’s what landed Stevie J behind bars. He and his live-in GF had a kid in ’97 and ’98. In ’99 Stevie was ordered to pay around $6,600 a month in child support, which eventually was raised to $8500K.

According to the criminal complaint, Stevie J stopped paying in 2001 he’s never paid a cent since then. So now the tab is a whopping $1,107,412. Cops nabbed Stevie J in Georgia.

He’ll probably bail out soon but then has to face criminal charges in NYC. Stevie J just took and L, but Mona Scott-Young just caught a W with this one.
