DWAYNE WADE ADMITS FATHERING A NEW BABY WHILE WITH GABRIELLE UNION BY A JUMPOFF

The Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade, 31, said Monday evening that his infant son, fathered with another woman while on a temporary break from fiancee Gabrielle Union, 41, is a “blessing to the bloodline,” the Miami Herald reports.

Wade answered questions from the press about the child before the team’s game Monday against the Denver Nuggets.Wade said he is going to “focus on what’s most important to me and my family, and that’s being a great father.

I’ve always tried to show my importance in my kids’ lives and it doesn’t change now.” Union, the “Being Mary Jane” actress, accepted the three-time NBA champion’s marriage proposal Dec 21.

Union was aware of the child before Wade proposed. Wade, who has two other sons, said that he has seen the baby boy, who is a month old, and says that nothing changes about him or how he supports his family.

“I’m always going to be a father first,” he said. “But, like I said, this is something, obviously, private for my family that we will continue to deal with [as a] family.”
