PUSHA T DONATES 1000 PAIRS OF SNEAKERS TO KIDS IN HOMETOWN & SENDS FOR MORE WHEN THEY RUN OUT

After flooding the seven cities of Virginia with that raw for several years before rap came calling – Pusha’s words, not mine – the braided half of the Clipse turned all St. Nick on us.

Pusha returned home in a very festive manner by donating 1,000 Adidas sneakers to 1,000 kids in his hometown of Norfolk, Virginia in conjunction with local charity A Thousand Shoes for a Thousand Smiles.

In fact, Pusha helped each kid try their pair on in the Norview Recreation Center and when the shoes ran out, he sent volunteers to surrounding stores to purchase more so no kid would leave empty-handed.

Of the event itself, Pusha confessed, “I feel blessed to be able to come back to my community and help 1000 Shoes For 1000 Smiles reach its goal of donating 1000 pairs of shoes. This is the first time in the organization’s history that this goal was met and I am so grateful to be a part of it.
