The Bronx is known for being a hotbed of talent in the Hip Hop world.  With legends like KRS-One, Fat Joe, Big Pun, French Montana, Fred the Godson, and many more who have paved the way for a fresh new crop of homegrown lyricists.  Some of whom come and go never really reaching their full potential because they lack something.  I could name thousands who've had a hot song but didn't have direction or the discipline to see it through, but not Y.U.N.G. D making him our "Star On The Rise" this month.

However, bleak the new era of  NY hip-hop may seem this BX freshman is a talented dude who is focused and locked in with his eyes on the prize.  Y.U.N.G. D the rapper started in the game 2 years ago winning a major talent contest in Long Island at 17.  Now he's graduated on to taking his career to the next level by working with other up and coming artists and spitting fire. 

His style is heavily influenced by some of his favorite artists like J. Cole, Drake, and Lupe Fiasco. 

Being multi-talented in the game is the formula that will set him apart as he also sings on his tracks to compliment the bars he puts down.  This Bronx young gunner is willing to put in the work and for a new comer he has the right attitude while making all the right moves.
