DETROIT'S MOBILE STRIP CLUB "BOOTYLOUNGE" IS BACK IN BUSINESS AFTER BEING SHUT DOWN

BOOTYLOUNGE MOBILE STRIP CLUB
The mobile strip club, “BootyLounge,” made headlines before being shut down back in 2011.
But the club’s owner is saying you can expect to see it on the streets again before Detroit Lions games.
The BootyLounge was shut down two years ago for lack of commercial license or proof of inspection, Detroit police says.

A former BootyLounge dancer believes if the club does return it won’t last for long, not because of the nature of the business but because of the people who were caught going to it. Armani Knight, who has defended the business in the past, says Detroit police officers “come on the bus” and get dances from the girls, and take pictures with them.
Detroit police now say if the proper licenses have been obtained, and inspection completed, if more violations still occur there’s no stopping them from issuing citations like indecent exposure or obscene gestures if families and children are around.
Knight defends the club, saying “There wasn’t anything illegal going on; there wasn’t anything, you know, really to draw the kind of attention that it did.”
