TRICK DADDY & LIL' WAYNE IN BATTLE FOR MIAMI

Trick Daddy recently went at Lil Wayne and other’s who he felt was disrespecting Miami, especially in the light of Lil Wayne’s f*ck Miami rant.  Both Trick Daddy and Luke the resident mayors of Miami openly let him know how they felt and defended their city.  Lil Wayne responded to the comments.  Read more after the jump.

Wayne said he has not yet read Luke’s letter but already knows how the South Beach native feels about him.

“Yup,” Wayne said in an interview when asked if his daughter is really signed to Young Money. “I’d expect my daughter to be the bigger person in that situation — I can’t change nobody’s personal opinion. I can’t change nobody’s personal view. I can just keep doing what I do and keep putting food on the table for my family and that’s what I’m going to do no matter what. … I haven’t [read Luke's letter], but I already know how he feels about me. I’ve never met him actually. … Ever since I got here, there were billboards and signs saying, ‘Lil Wayne, Go Back Home,’ you know what I mean? And I didn’t do anything.” (99 Jamz)

He also killed rumors and speculation of possibly packing up his bags and leaving the city.

“This is Miami, I can’t move,” Wayne added. “I got the best skate weather, ever, down here. … Like I said, the main thing I really want to get out there is that I do apologize for the misunderstanding to the city of Miami. I love everyone here, it’s just I’m passionate about sports and I felt very disrespected, that’s all. I felt very, very disrespected.” (99 Jamz)
