Isaora’s Down Crew Pullover. |
The New York City men’s wear brand Isaora has blended two of the season’s popular cold-weather trends: the down jacket and the pullover.
Mostly known for edgy and polished activewear, Isaora has chartered new territory in creating the Down Crew Pullover. The experiment worked. Each one has the light weight of a sweatshirt but the warmth and coziness of a puffer jacket. Since the company’s inception in 2009, the founders Marc Daniels and Ricky Hendry have modeled their line on form and function, often using a restrained color palette that allows them to show off their knack for stylish innovations.
Thanks to a cold dyeing technique, the pullovers are created with maximum color saturation, softness and insulation, adding a little luxury to a staple. The down-filled top comes in green, grey and teal, but because the dye dries differently on every piece, every pullover has a distinctive look. Also, made for the fall/winter 2012 season is the garment dyed vest and jacket.
