During one of the worst losses in Jets history, Mark Sanchez became the butt of jokes across the NFL and over the Internet Thursday night.
With the Jets on their way to allowing 21 points in a 52-second span of the second quarter of their 49-19 loss to the Patriots, Sanchez planned on handing the ball off to Lex Hilliard, who was nowhere to be found when the Jets’ QB turned around.
Sanchez had no choice but to run it himself, but slipped and his face smacked against Brandon Moore’s behind, causing a fumble that was returned by Steve Gregory for a 32-yard touchdown. Sanchez really made an ass of himself on nationally televised Thanksgiving day game! No pun intended....
