Jay-Z Takes Blue Ivy On First Helicopter Ride

Jay-Z Takes Blue Ivy On First Helicopter Ride
August 30th, marks the day that baby Blue Ivy Carter got to do what many never get to experience at only eight months old.  Her father, Jay-Z, took her on her first helicopter ride as he was photographed touching down at a helipad in New York City with Baby Blue being held close to his chest.  The little music royalty was wearing a small pair of blue headphones to shield her ears from the loud noises of the helicopter propellers.
Check out the pics of Baby Blue and Jay-Z above.

100-Year Old Driver Hits 11 People Near L.A.School

Preston Carter, 100, talks with police officers after police say his car went onto a sidewalk and plowed into a group of parents and children outside a South Los Angeles elementary school, Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, in Los Angeles. Nine children and two adults were injured in the wreck. (AP Photo/Mark J. Terrill)

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The screams of women and children didn't cause a 100-year-old driver to stop as he backed his large powder blue Cadillac onto a sidewalk across from an elementary school and hit 11 people, including nine children.
So people began pounding on his windows screaming for him to stop, a witness said.
Alma Solache said she was buying her children an afterschool snack Wednesday just before the accident outside a South Los Angeles school.
"He was not paying attention," said Solache, 24, adding that it was at least two or three seconds before the vehicle halted and people began pulling children out from beneath the car.
Four of the children were in critical condition when firefighters arrived but they were stabilized and were in serious condition at a hospital, city fire Capt. Jaime Moore said. Everyone was expected to survive, he said.
Children's backpacks, shoes, candy and loose change were strewn about the scene behind a discount grocery store across from Main Street Elementary.
Police said the driver, Preston Carter, was being very cooperative and drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
Carter talked to television reporters after the crash some five miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles. He said he has a driver's license and will be 101 years old Sept. 5.
"My brakes failed. It was out of control," Carter told KCAL-TV.
Asked about hitting the children, Preston said: "You know I'm sorry about that. I wouldn't do that for nothing on earth. My sympathies for them."
Carter was pulling out of the grocery store parking lot, but instead of backing into the street, he backed onto the sidewalk, police Capt. George Rodriguez said.
"I think it was a miscalculation on his part. The gentleman is elderly," Rodriguez said. "Obviously he is going to have some impairment on his decision making."
Elderly drivers have been involved in other tragedies. In 2003, an 86-year-old man mistakenly stepped on the gas pedal of his car instead of the brake and then panicked, plowing into an open-air market in Santa Monica. Ten people were killed and 63 injured.
According to California's Department of Motor Vehicles, people over age 70 must renew their driver's license in person, rather than via the Internet or by mail. Older drivers can also be required to take a supplemental driving test if they fail a vision exam, or if a police officer, a physician, or a family member raises questions about their ability to drive.
Rodriguez said the collision was being investigated as an accident, and Carter was not under arrest. He has a valid driver's license, Rodriguez said.

Turning Blue: Friday’s Full Moon Is Also A "Blue Moon"

Full blue moon
This Friday, Aug. 31, might not be all that much fun for you, especially if you’re someone who vows to only do obligatory tasks once in a blue moon. Then again, if you’re a believer that good luck comes your way only once in a blue moon, Friday might be just the day you’ve been waiting for.
The fact is, for the first time since March 2010, we’ll gaze upon a blue moon this Friday, illustrating just how long that fabled stretch of time really is: almost 30 months. After Friday, you’ll have to wait another 36 months — until July 2015 — for the next one. So, it’s time to loosen up Friday and do all those things you say you do “once in a blue moon.”

MANHATTAN GRANNY PART OF $1 MILLION A YR. DRUG RING

Doris Smith accused of helping her son-in-law run a drug ring out of her building.
Doris Smith accused of helping her son-in-law run a drug ring out of her building.
Don't let the wooden cane and graying hair fool you: This granny was all gangster.

Diminutive Doris Smith, 72, confessed Wednesday to helping her son-in-law run a $1 million-a-year Harlem drug ring by using her tony Manhattan co-op as a stash house for PCP, crack and heroin.
The family matriarch — known among her drug pals as “Mama Dot” — was twice caught on wiretaps warning the son-in-law, gang kingpin Lamont (Big Bro) Moultrie, 42, that cops were inside the building at 101 W. 115th St.
“I’ve listened to the wiretaps,” Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Edward McLaughlin told Smith’s attorney. “Your client was quite involved. She knew what was going on, and tried to deflect the police.”

The short, heavyset grandmother of seven — and great-grandmother of one — pushed up her eyeglasses to wipe away tears while admitting her pivotal role in the lucrative dope-peddling business.
GRANNY30N_4_WEB
Smith, as co-op board president, held a key to the basement and a vacant third-floor apartment next door to where she lived with her daughter Nicole McNair Moultrie and son-in-law Lamont. The basement of the six-story building was used to store hundreds of heroin-filled packets and dozens of plastic bags loaded with crack.
GRANNY30N_5_WEB
The heroin was marketed under the brand name “24,” and a stamp with that number was kept downstairs.
The upstairs apartment served as the heart of the PCP trade, with gang underlings dipping spearmint leaves into 5-gallon cans of the liquid drug.
GRANNY30N_6_WEB
The angel dust-laced leaves were then sold for $10 apiece by dealers at three open-air Harlem drug markets — earning the gang its nickname, the “Kings of Dust.”
Lamont Moultrie and his kid brother Bernard (Little Bro) Moultrie, 39, were charged as the heads of the drug gang and are awaiting trial under the state’s “Drug Kingpin” statute.

Is Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson Going To Jail For Headbutting Evelyn?

Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson is probably going through the most trying time of his life.  First, he was arrested for domestic violence against his wife, "Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozado, then he was cut from the Miami Dolphins and it was aired on ESPN.  He also lost two lucrative endorsement deals. Now we hear that Chad may be going to jail for one year for his domestic violence offense against Evelyn.

Unfortunately, this was not Chad’s first time being accused of hitting a woman. In 2000, Chad plead guilty in a California court for slapping his then-girlfriend after they got into a heated argument. He was sentenced to community service, but because of that, Johnson’s current misdemeanor domestic violence charge could be upgraded to a felony. If the prosecution chooses to upgrade the charge, Johnson could be facing a year in the slammer. Do you feel bad for Chad?
Speaking of Evelyn, new bikini pics of her 19-year-old daughter Shaniece have hit the net. Check out the pics below:
Shaniece is rumored to be dating bad mon singer, Sean Kingston. We hear he is tricking on her hard.

FIFTH GRADE TEACHER HELPED STUDENTS CHEAT SAYS "THEY WERE DUMB AS HELL"

A fifth grade teacher allegedly helped students cheat because they were "dumb as hell."
Atlanta math teacher Shayla Smith appeared before a three-person test-cheating tribunal on Monday. The tribunal endorsed her termination to the school board of Dobbs Elementary after an hour of deliberation. The school board has not yet voted on whether Smith's contract will be renewed.
The Atlanta Public School system enlisted the tribunal to investigate prevalent cheating. Approximately 180 teachers stand accused of dishonesty.
Smith's hearing included testimonies from a former student and a colleague.
Schajuan Jones, Smith's fellow instructor, taught fourth grade near Smith's classroom. One day Smith proctored an exam for another teacher. Afterward, Jones claimed to have heard Smith admit to deceit, while voicing unsavory opinions of the children.
"The words were, 'I had to give your kids, or your students, the answers because they're dumb as hell,'" Jones told the tribunal. She claims she didn't speak out earlier because she feared reproof or reprisal from the principal.
Both women admitted to not getting along. During the hearing, Smith accused Jones of being a liar.
The student claimed that Smith gave her and other students answers to a test in the summer of 2010. Smith allegedly pointed to the correct answers throughout the exam, according to the unidentified girl, who is now in the eighth grade.
But the girl's testimony wasn't air tight. She also said the exam lasted for several days but Smith maintained it was only one day. A testing expert sided with Smith on this point, reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Along with giving students answers, Smith has also been accused of changing answers after collecting the tests. The exams' many erasure marks show that someone changed the answers from wrong to correct, said Superintendent Erroll Davis.
Although this is not hard evidence that Smith altered the students' responses, Davis does not trust that Smith will proctor future tests with honesty, according to WSBTV.

Karlie Redd’s Secret Drug Kingpin Baby Daddy Revealed!!!

Karlie Redd baby Daddy Exposed
We are learning more about the mysterious past of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Karlie Redd. It’s a shady history we’ve learned the 46-year-old LHHA leading lady once shared with one of America’s most wanted fugitives.
Insiders have revealed 59-year-old Nathan ‘Nate’ Hill, who’s serving a lifetime prison sentence, is the biological father of Keisha ‘Karlie Redd’ Lewis’ 18-year-old daughter, Jazmin(e) – who sources say is a student at Atlanta’s Clark University.
Sources say, Karlie was devastated after the news of her teen daughter surfaced during the LHHA reunion show. We’re told Karlie Red didn’t want the world to know Jazmin’s's father is the notorious Chicago gangster, Nate Hill.
Karlie Redd Baby Daddy Revealed
Back in January 1998 – Hill, who remained on the lamb for two-years, fleeing to Africa to avoid prosecution for supplying the Gangster Disciples and Vice Lords gangs with more than 6,600 pounds of cocaine from 1987 to 1995, was tracked down and caught by U.S. law enforcement officials in one of the most remote corners of the world: Conakry, capital of the West African nation of Guinea.
Here’s what deputy U.S. Marshal Bill O’Malley had to say about Hill’s arrest:
“Hill, who was wanted in Chicago on murder and drug-trafficking charges and was named to the U.S. Marshals Service’s 15 Most Wanted List in 1996, was traced to Conakry through telephone records in a related case. Hill was apprehended and flown to Chicago. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was ordered held without bail.”
This after it was reported back in December 1996, “two girlfriends of Hill’s are also missing and presumed to be in hiding with him”.
That’s before Hill was sentenced to life and fined $8.5 million, and forfeited cash and property valued at $5 million. He was convicted of drug conspiracy, tax fraud, money laundering, operating an ongoing criminal enterprise and ordering the killings of three enemies, two of whom were, in fact, killed.
With his drug money, Hill moved into the recording business, founding New York-based Pocketown, named after his South Side neighborhood at 78th and Stony Island. Pocketown scored a top 10 music video with “Froggy Style” by Nuttin’ Nyce in 1995 and published “Wandering Eyes,” which was on the soundtrack of Whoopi Goldberg’s film “Sister Act 2.”
Here’s what prosecutors had to say about Nathan Hill in filed court documents:
“Drug trafficking provided Hill with sizable profits which he used to purchase homes, cars, boats, and, eventually, a four-engine JetStar aircraft. Hill also sought legitimate business opportunities through which he could launder his drug proceeds. One of these businesses was Pocketown Records, a record producing and manufacturing business formed in 1993 by Nate Hill and Michael Jefferson.
At Hill’s direction, Rodney Ellis, a cousin to Hill, participated in the operation of Pocketown Records. Ellis managed Pocketown’s daily operations and financial activities. Pocketown’s expenses were paid primarily in cash. For example, no salary checks were issued; instead Hill handed out cash payments to Pocketown workers. On several occasions, Ellis transported large amounts of cash from Chicago to Pocketown, which was located in New York, and at other times, Ellis received deliveries of cash from other Hill employees. Ellis prepared false records for Pocketown in an attempt to justify the influx of cash to the business. Ellis also provided inaccurate information to the accountant who was preparing Pocketown’s 1993 tax returns. Ellis then signed the falsified return and filed it with the IRS. Ellis later became involved in another of Hill’s business ventures, the production of a motion picture entitled “Reasons” which was based on Hill’s life story. Ellis played a limited role in the “Reasons“ production, unsuccessfully attempting to persuade a recording company to produce the soundtrack for the film.

Judge Presiding Over The Trayvon Martin Case Must Step Down

A Florida appeals court granted George Zimmerman's request for a new judge Wednesday, saying the original judge's remarks put Zimmerman in reasonable fear of a fair trial.
Zimmerman, 28, is charged with second-degree murder in the February 26 shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin.
Zimmerman's attorneys wanted Seminole County Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester removed, saying language he used in a bail order disparaged their client's character and held over his head the threat of future criminal proceedings.
The Fifth District Court of Appeal agreed, and Lester must now step down.
There was no immediate response to the ruling from either Lester, prosecutors or Zimmerman's attorneys.
Lester revoked Zimmerman's original $150,000 bond after learning Zimmerman and his wife, Shellie, failed to disclose more than $100,000 in donations from the public.
The judge then set a new bail of $1 million in July, and it was the language in that bail order that Zimmerman and his lawyers took issue with.
The court agreed with Zimmerman's attorneys that Lester "made gratuitous, disparaging remarks about Mr. Zimmerman's character; advocated for Mr. Zimmerman to be prosecuted for additional crimes; offered a personal opinion about the evidence for the prosecution; continued to hold over Mr. Zimmerman's head the threat of future contempt proceedings, and ultimately set a bond at $1,000,000."
The appeals court also agreed that Lester's remarks "created reasonable fear in Mr. Zimmerman that the court is biased against him, and, as a result of this prejudice cannot receive a fair and impartial trial or hearing by the trial court."

In his July bail order, Lester wrote that "under any defnition, the defendant has flouted the system" and "tried to manipulate the system when he has been presented the opportunity to do so."
Lester also wrote that it was his "personal opinion" that Zimmerman intentionally gave false or misleading information in his bail application -- which is a felony -- and he suggested the possibility of future contempt proceedings.
"Holding this over Mr. Zimmerman creates a horrible chilling effect on this case, on the defense presentation, and cements Mr. Zimmerman's fear that he will not get a fair trial from the trial court," the appeals court wrote.
Zimmerman is free after posting the $1 million bond.
The former neighborhood watch captain has pleaded not guilty to the charges and said he shot the 17-year-old Martin in self-defense after Martin attacked him. Martin, who was unarmed, was walking through a gated neighborhood in Sanford, Florida, to his father's girlfriend's house when he was killed.

KRIS HUMPHRIES Woman Claims He Gave Her HERPES

0829_kris_humphries_doc_launchKris Humphries has just been sued by a woman who claims he gave her herpes ... TMZ has learned.

Kayla Goldberg claims she met Kris in August, 2010 at the Newsroom Cafe on Robertson Blvd in L.A. -- long before Kris met Kim Kardashian. The two flirted, exchanged numbers, and Kayla claims that night they met up at Trousdale nightclub on the Sunset Strip.

According to the suit, Kris came on to Kayla, touching, kissing and dancing with her. Kayla claims he took her to his hotel and they had sex multiple times ... including oral sex. The suit claims during a portion of the sexual encounter Kris did not wear a condom.

The lawsuit claims Kris did not inform Kayla he had herpes -- and she claims in the suit that he did indeed have the disease.

Kayla says a week later she was diagnosed with herpes. Her symptoms included a sore throat, fever, body aches and immobilizing pain, as well as extreme vaginal irritation and painful lesions on her genitalia.

She's suing for sexual battery claiming Kris knew he had herpes when they hooked up and didn't tell her.

Kayla -- who put her full name in the lawsuit -- is suing for unspecified damages.

BLACK CNN CAMERAWOMEN RACIALLY PELTED WITH NUTS AT REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION 2 PPL EJECTED

Republican National Convention attendee escorted out of the Tampa Arena after throwing nuts at an African-America CNN camerwoman and saying "this is how we feed animals." Which is confirmed by CNN and others.

Two people were ejected from the Republican National Convention when they threw nuts at a black CNN camera woman and said "this is how we feed animals," the network said Wednesday.

"CNN can confirm there was an incident directed at an employee inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum" on Tuesday, the opening day of a gala at which former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney will accept his party's nomination to challenge President Barack Obama in November's election.

"CNN worked with convention officials to address this matter and will have no further comment."
Several witnesses observed the exchange, CNN reported, and convention security personnel immediately removed the two people from the forum.

The convention confirmed the incident in a statement late Tuesday.
"Two attendees tonight exhibited deplorable behavior. Their conduct was inexcusable and unacceptable. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated," organizers said.

The incident is surely not what Republicans wanted 10 weeks out from the election. Romney has struggled to attract African American voters as well as Hispanics, and he is also on the wrong side of the gender gap, with polls consistently showing women voters preferring Obama to Romney.

Current TV journalist and talk radio host David Shuster first tweeted about the incident Tuesday night.
"GOP attendee ejected for throwing nuts at African American CNN camera woman + saying 'This is how we feed animals,'" Shuster posted on Twitter.

Are you still surprised at these behaviors? Please feel free to leave your comments.

OBAMA OR ROMNEY WHO DOES THE WORLD WANT FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS???

At the Republican National Convention scheduled to take place this week and the Democratic National Convention beginning September 3, Americans will notionally be choosing their candidates for president of the United States. Effectively they will be deciding who will be the leader of the world for the next four years.
The world’s citizens get no say in this choice. Nevertheless, people outside the United States have definite opinions about Obama and some of the key issues in the campaign: about the state of the economy and what to do about it, climate change and how they think Washington should treat them.

Neither the GOP nor the Democratic nominee is likely to shape his electoral message to the American people to please foreigners. In fact, if he did, it would probably hurt his chances of winning.

Europeans have had a four-year love affair with Barack Obama: 87 percent of Germans, 86 percent of French and 80 percent of the British have confidence in Obama, according to a 2012 poll by the Pew Research Center’s Global Attitudes project. In each case this is higher than public confidence in their own national leader. And 92 percent of the French, 89 percent of the Germans and 73 percent of the British want Obama reelected.

In the long run, if Romney wins, none of this may matter, as Europeans get to know him. But, in the short run, it could matter. A 2005 Pew Research Center survey found that in Britain, France, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands, strong majorities said the 2004 re-election of George W. Bush led them to have a less favorable opinion of the United States. A newly-elected Romney administration may have to contend with a similar European reaction if the popular Obama is defeated in what will come to a surprise to many of them.

But an Obama defeat may not play as poorly in the Middle East – in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Tunisia – where a median of only 29 percent approve of Obama and a median of just 25 percent want him reelected.
Elsewhere, foreign reaction to an Obama defeat could be mixed. In Asia, 74 percent of Japanese have a favorable view of the current U.S. president and 66 percent want him reelected. But Obama’s popularity is only 38 percent in China and only 31 percent there want him to get another term.

Similarly, in Latin America, while 68 percent of Brazilians like Obama and 72 percent want him reelected, only 42 percent of Mexicans are well disposed toward the current U.S. president and just 35 percent hope he has a second term.

Foreign expectations of the next American leader can, in part, be discerned from their current policy preferences and their judgment of the Obama foreign policy.

HOMEOWNERS CAUGHT IN A CATCH 22 WITH MORTGAGE RATE SKY HIGH

It would kill my father to walk away
Name: Kristy Robinette and Ronald Schiller
Hometown: Livonia, Mich.
Interest rate: 7%

Shortly after her mother passed away five years ago, Kristy Robinette bought a home with her father, Ronald Schiller, for $189,000.
They love the place, but its value has plummeted to $120,000 -- and they still owe $178,000. Even worse: the mortgage is carrying a sky-high 7% rate.
For three years now, they've been trying to refinance but they owe too much to meet Freddie Mac's guidelines. And since they haven't fallen behind on payments, they don't qualify for a modification under the government's Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP).
Their mortgage servicer, Ocwen Financial, told them to either short sell or walk away, according to Robinette. "My dad is 74 years old and worked the transmission line at Ford Motor. He's never missed a payment: It would kill him to walk away," she said.
Recently, they tried to refinance through the Home Affordable Refinancing Program (HARP), a government program that helps underwater borrowers who are current on their payments. After they met with Ocwen about applying for the program, however, they didn't hear back for weeks.
"I know they are bombarded, but I feel as if those of us that have pretty good credit are being shoved to the back of the line," she said.
Eventually, she received a letter from Ocwen offering to review their options, but it's still not clear if they will be able to refinance.

HURRICANE ISAAC FLOODS LEVEE IN NEW ORLEANS ON THE ANNIVERSARY OF KATRINA

Hurrican Isaac hits shore in Louisana and Mississippi inland from the Gulf of Mexico.

NEW ORLEANS — Hurricane Isaac pushed water over a rural levee, knocked out power and flooded beach-front roads before dawn in Louisiana and Mississippi as it began a slow, drenching slog inland from the Gulf of Mexico with a newly fortified New Orleans in its path.
Wind gusts and sheets of rain pelted the nearly empty streets of New Orleans, where people watched the incoming Isaac from behind levees that were strengthened after the much stronger Hurricane Katrina hit seven years ago to the day.
Water driven by the large and powerful storm flooded over an 18-mile stretch of one levee in Plaquemines Parish south of New Orleans, flooding some homes in a thinly populated area. The levee, one of many across the low-lying coastal zone, is not part of New Orleans' defenses.
Parish authorities believe some people may be trapped but were not sure how many may have remained despite an earlier evacuation. Rescuers were waiting for the strong winds to die down later in the day before moving out to search.
"We did have two parish police officers that were stuck in a car there. We just found out they were rescued and are safe," said emergency management spokeswoman Caitlin Campbell. Two other parish workers in a boat rescued them..
Isaac was packing 80 mph winds, making it a Category 1 hurricane. It came ashore at 7:45 p.m. EDT Tuesday near the mouth of the Mississippi River, driving a wall of water nearly 11 feet high inland and soaking a neck of land that stretches into the Gulf.
The storm stalled for several hours before resuming a slow trek inland, and forecasters said that was in keeping with the its erratic history. The slow motion over land means Isaac could be a major soaker, dumping up to 20 inches of rain in some areas, and every storm is different, said Ken Graham, chief meteorologist at the National, Weather Service office in Slidell, La.
"It's totally up to the storm," he said.
Isaac's winds and sheets of rain whipped New Orleans, where forecasters said the city's skyscrapers could feel gusts up to 100 mph. Ryan Berni, a spokesman for the city of New Orleans, said the storm had caused only some minor street flooding before dawn and felled trees but had left roughly 125,000 customers in the city without power.
In Mississippi, the main highway that runs along the Gulf, U.S. 90, was closed in sections by storm surge flooding. At one spot in Biloxi, a foot of water covered the in-town highway for a couple of blocks and it looked like more was coming in. High tide around 9:30 a.m. was likely to bring up more water.
