A Mack truck rearended rapper 50 Cent in a scary accident on the Long Island Expressway, sending him to the hospital with possible neck and back injuries, according the artist’s Web site.
Thisis50.com posted pictures of last night’s accident scene and images of the rapper on a stretcher with his head and neck immobilized.
“50 cent was in a bad accident tonight as his bulletproof SUV was rearended by a Mack truck on the LIE in NYC,” the Web site said.
“He was put on a stretcher and taken to the nearest Queens hospital where they are currently running tests on his neck and back. His driver is also currently in the hospital as the SUV almost flipped over.”

The truck’s driver told cops his load shifted, leading him to lose control of the semi, according to the Web site. A rep for the artist, born Curtis Jackson, confirmed he was in a crash but could not offer any additional details.
