The truth about the Derek J., ”J Spot Hair Salon” shooting is out all over the streets of ATL. But what “most” news sources don’t know is, there’s way more to the story, than what is being told.
Neffe is heart broken over all the bad press she’s been getting over the shooting. Neffe wanted people to know she had nothing to do with all the drama…
Neffeteria Pugh’s Publicist Phillip Hudson sent over the statement below:
Neffeteria Pugh also known as “Neffe”( from BET’s Hit Show Frankie and Neffe and Keyshia Cole’s “The Way it is”) is not responsible for the actions that took place at the J Spot salon in Buckhead, Georgia on Wednesday March 14, 2012. Neffe has been a client of the J Spot for years and stopped by to fix an underlying issue that she was having with her hair that recently done by another Atlanta hair stylist. Neffe expresses apologies to the J-Spot Hair Salon and the other stylists who were present during the incident and wants to make it notably clear that she had nothing to do with the shooting or the confrontation between the two feuding hair stylists.
Details about Derek J., J Spot Salon Shooting…
Derek J from the “Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” and judge on Oxygen’s “Hair Battle Spectacular” was lost for words when a stylist across town pulled a gun out in his shop.
I was told exclusively by sources in the shop while all the drama was going on, “Neffe had her hair done by a celebrity stylist and didn’t like the fact that “most of her hair was falling out, breaking, and looked really bad ” so Neffe went to Derek J to see if he could fix it. Channel 2 News reports Derek told her he couldn’t help her at the moment and asked her to reach out to the stylist to see what all he had done to her hair so he could try to fix it. But I was told something else.
The saddest part about all this is the fact that Neffe, is still getting over losing her best friend / Hair Stylist Dariel D. Pullium who was her stylist for years. Neffe is working on a new TV show and has some big things in the works…
Derek J told Chanel 2 news
“I’m upset because my floor is messed up now. [Neffe's hair was] messed up to the point we didn’t know what to do. So I was just like, reach out to the stylist and say, ‘Hey, what did you use, what did you do?’ and it turned from a professional conversation to more of an argument, but we thought it was done.
“We knew it wasn’t a good thing when he came but we thought it was going to be a quick exchange with words and then he was going to be gone. So, nobody really knew he would pull out a gun.” The gunman in question aimed the gun at the floor and shot several times and threatened the co-owner Lisa McCall before leaving. The big question is did Neffe send this raging lunatic to the salon?
