HIP-HOP PIONEER MARIA DAVIS CELEBRATES HER 20TH YR WITH HIV AT THE "AIDS WALK NEW YORK" IN MAY

This year Maria Davis of "Mad Wednesdays" will be celebrating 20 years of Living with HIV. It seems like yesterday that she found out through a rejected life insurance application that she was HIV+. Her HIV diagnoses was life changing and because of GOD'S Grace & Mercy SHE IS STILL HERE!!!

Looking back on her journey to healing she is grateful for her family, friends, Doctors, Nurses, and her First Corinthian & Canaan Baptist church Family.

It's been 20 years since the deadly virus effected her life and In celebration of her heroic battle she is asking everyone to come out to support the "Aids Walk New York" presented by Duane Reade on Sunday, May 17, 2015 starting and ending at Central Park in NYC. We will not only celebrate her life but the lives of many other survivors and those we have lost in the battle against AIDS.
