THREE PLAYERS EJECTED IN AUBURN VS ALABAMA WOMEN'S NCAA COLLEGIATE BASKETBALL GAME AFTER WILD BRAWL

ALABAMA VS AUBURN
Things get heated when it comes to Alabama and Auburn.  That in-state acrimony apparently extends to women's basketball, where three players were ejected Thursday night after a wild, on-court brawl during the first half of the Crimson Tide's 51-50 win over visiting Auburn.

A scramble for the ball after a free throw saw Alabama's Breanna Hayden punch Auburn's Hasina Muhammad in the face when the two got tangled up stepping into the lane at the same time.

Muhammad chased down the backpedaling Hayden and connected with her own wild haymaker in a scene caught on video.

A referee was knocked down during the Southeastern Conference melee and Muhammad, Hayden and Bama's Meoshonti Knight, who left the bench, were each ejected for their role in the fight with 1:14 left and the Tide up 28-15.

Both teams entered the game winless in SEC play. There were no winners in this fight, either.
