REPORTER PUMMELED BY GHANA SOCCER STAR'S BROTHER FOR ASKING ABOUT ASAMOAH GYAN'S RITUAL KILLING OF RAPPER

ASAMOAH & BAFFOUR GYAN
The brother of Black Stars’ captain, Asamoah Gyan, Monday afternoon appeared in a Kumasi court to answer charges of assault.

The police in Kumasi are holding Baffour Gyan for assaulting a journalist with the state-owned Daily Graphic newspaper, Daniel Kenu.

He is alleged to have led an attack on the journalist for asking Asamoah Gyan whether or not he had any responses to rumors that he used his friend, Castro, for ritual purposes.
ASAMOAH GYAN & CASTRO
The popular musician went missing with a female companion while jet skiing at Ada. He had gone there with Asamoah Gyan to have fun.

The journalist sought to find out from the football star whether he had any response to the claims that he had something to do with the disappearance of Castro.

But Asamoah Gyan’s brother thought the question was distasteful and confronted Daniel Kenu and allegedly led an assault on him by muscular men.

That landed him in trouble with the police who issued an arrest for him.

Baffour Gyan turned himself in and was arrested.

Later, Samuel Anim Addo, the manager of Asamoah Gyan, was also arrested in connection with the incident.

Both of them appeared in court today and were granted a 30,000 bail with no surety.

They are expected to reappear on Friday September 12, 2014, for hearing of the case.
