CHRISTIAN RADIO HOST SAYS BITTER BLACK PEOPLE ARE THE REASON FOR WHITE RACISTS

SANDY RIOS
Last week, we were treated to the ranting of a Christian radio host who argued vehemently that white Americans were no longer racist. But, just in case they are, it is no fault of their own.

Rather, “racist black people” by constantly bringing up race have brought out the racist demon in white folks. Her name is Sandy Rios, of American Family Radio.

She was downright offended when a caller accused her of racism: “I think the racist garbage coming from the—uh, a lot of blacks right now who are just filled with bitterness and rage is just amazing to me,” Rios said. “It is racism, I am seeing it constantly here in D.C., you know, I think—and it’s causing white citizens to become more racist than they ever were.”

Then she dipped her toe into a little historiography, referring to the original white people of America’s Germanic tribal heritage—those British Puritans/Pilgrims who were the original thieves of Indian lands and slave masters and dealers in African flesh.

These severely devout people justified, and thanked their Christian God for, their obvious superiority, their separateness, their whiteness, and their “civilized” condition vis-a-vis the red “savages” by whom they were surrounded.

They thought it only fitting and proper — ordained — that those selfsame savages had no choice but to patiently show them how to cope with the raging and unforgiving “wild” land, the wilderness, as it were: “I think for the most part, the American Anglo-Saxon crew really has moved past racism, they did it quite a long time ago,” she said.

It should come as no surprise that Rios is a Fox News contributor as well. She then expounded upon precisely why white racism is no more, a mere unfortunate chapter in America’s otherwise glorious past. You see, white supremacy had demonstrably ended with the end of racial segregation.

Even more, white America had elected a black president. “I mean, they did elect Barack Obama twice, so I think it’s not nearly the issue in the white community that it was in the ’50s, sure it isn’t, or the 60s—it just isn’t,” she said. “But it seems to be raging, racism seems to be absolutely raging in the black community.”

And so, black racism accounts for the “recent” rise in racist feelings among whites. “I think what’s causing it is people like Barack Obama and Eric Holder, who can’t say enough and stir the pot enough to create anger and hatred and bitterness,” Rios said. She equated the rise of black racism with feminism: “You know, they do the same thing with women, it’s the same thing in feminism, that’s why I’ve never been a feminist. I hate feminism.”
