(VIDEO) DANCEHALL ARTIST KINGPIN VENTS IN VIDEO "SHE LEF MI FI A BATTYMAN" CLAIMS IT'S TRUE STORY

Up-and-coming dancehall artist Kingpin has released a song on social media, venting about losing his girlfriend to an alleged bisexual man.
According to the artist, who uploaded a two minute and 54- second video of himself performing the song in his room, he decided to vent about his experience, because he found it strange that his former spouse would do him such a dishonor.

 The song is called She Lef Mi Fi A Battyman, and sees the young deejay spilling his guts in acapella.
 

 

"This song is based on a true story. I was involved with this female and it wasn't working out, so we decided to separate.

 

"A few weeks after, she called me up to find out how I was doing, even though we were no longer involved, and during the conversation we were talking about relationships and she told me what she was experiencing," he said.

 

According to the artist, he didn't decide to pen a song about the situation until a close friend of his began to query about his ex-girlfriend. He said this conversation led to several questions being raised about the man who his ex was now dating, questions which left him feeling extremely uncomfortable.
