2013 EBC TOURNAMENT AT RUCKER PARK: ET6 MISSION "DESTROY ALL OPPOSITION"

This year to set the summer off right we're gonna bring y'all along for the journey.  What journey you ask? The "Destroy All Opposition" journey....

On our first mission we decided to take our talents to Harlem.  Yup, that's right the world's famous Entertainer's Basketball Classic at Rucker Park.  If you know anything about street ball, this is the mecca.  The EBC tourney is known throughout the world for bringing some of the best athletes in the pros, college, and even top high school players from across the country. 

The EBC is ran by no other than the Commissioner and CEO himself, Mr. Greg Marius.

Greg has managed to keep the EBC blazin' and annually anticipated since he took over in 1985.  Yeah for all those other tournaments popping up in NYC claiming to have that fire, do the math.  It's only natural to have competition in the most competitive city on earth, but understand when to pay homage!! 

Over at the EBC they understand competition, so they raised the bar.  This year they baked the city and brought out the parquet floor.  After a ceremonious ground breaking the 2013 EBC Tourney season was off and running literally.

Being that is was a debut of sorts...... What better than to debut our Epic Team 6 hoops all*stars. 

The mission was set and all that was left to do was to get the GM himself and head of Epic Sports Management KC Jones to make the moves.  With that said, moves made!!!

On our first night we were up against a very well coached and talented Team 914.  This team is known for puttin' it down in street ball and Coach K-Born was sure to have them ready.  However the GM, as any good one always has a wildcard. 

He brought out @teamswish, no other than NY Knicks own J.R. Smith.

Fresh off signing a new 4 year contract extension the NBA's sixth man of the year held court and led us to our first victory.  ET6 Nation would like to congratulate J.R. on the fantastic year as a NY Knick as well as the new contract and wish him a speedy recovery from off season left knee surgery.

But wait, it's not called the Entertainer's Basketball Classic for nothing.  This year so far has cameos by some ballers, entertainers, and stars with the appearances of Shaq, Cedric The Entertainer, Rick Ross, Kenneth Fareid aka the "Manimal", Kemba Walker, Nas, CL Smooth, Murda Mook, and Lance Stephenson to name a few.

By the third week we were blessed with Brooklyn's own Uncle Murda cliqued up with Vado, DJ Kay Slay, and Waka Flocka shooting his video "New York City" on the hallowed grounds of Rucker Park.

Moving along on the journey the Epic Team 6 squad is now 4-1 and in prime position to finish the season off strong. 

You all ready know the Epic Team will be in the building reppin' that flag as we support our troops!!!!
