(VIDEO) DIDDY SPOOFS 'DOWNTON ABBEY' AFTER TWEETING NEWS PBS QUICKLY DENIES RUMORS OF HIM BEING FIRST BLACK CAST MEMBER

DIDDY
Diddy equally delighted and baffled his fans after announcing he would be featured as a series regular on his “favorite” show, “Downton Abbey.”
He tweeted, "MY BIG NEWS. So happy to announce that I'm a series regular on DOWNTON ABBEY – my favorite show + I'll be debuting a sneak peek tonight 12am PST!"

PBS quickly denied the rapper/actor’s post but, this morning, the truth was finally revealed. Turns out, Diddy was merely teasing his new Funny or Die skit.

In the sketch, the hit-making mogul proclaims, “I’m the first black cast member on

'Downtown' – 'Downton Abbey' – whatever the [bleep] it’s called.”
