CLIFF HARRIS |
Fox 12 in Oregon is reporting that Harris was arrested again after getting stopped on his way to court for speeding and then showing up more than 90 minutes late.
Harris was scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, but never made it. An officer monitoring traffic spotted Harris’ 1997 Acura passing cars in a no-passing area while going 62 mph in a 45 mph zone.
The officer pulled Harris over just after 8:30 a.m.
Harris told the officer he was already late for his court appearance. Harris was then cited for speeding, passing in a no-passing zone and driving without a license.
The officer made a courtesy call to the courthouse to let the judge know Harris was running late. Court workers said they would allow him extra time to arrive.
At that point Harris was told to get a ride, or have someone come pick him up. Harris had still not arrived by 10:00 a.m., so a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
Harris arrived at 10:15 and was arrested on the charge of failure to appear.
Harris was arrested earlier in the week when he got into an altercation with his girlfriend outside a Buffalo Wild Wings.
