Adding another accomplishment to her already-impressive résumé, Beyonce is now the face of H&M’s new summer ad campaign.
The Swedish retail giant confirmed that the Grammy-winning singer will appear in ads for its island-style campaign that was shot on the beaches of the Bahamas.
In the first look released today, Queen Bey – wearing a cream-colored top and patterned short-shorts – is swanned out like Cleopatra on a folding beach chair.
Mrs. Carter, as she's called in the ads, gushed in a statement: “I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements — fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”

The already ubiquitous star, who’s also preparing for her upcoming world tour, will be featured on billboards, and in print ads and TV commercials for the clothing juggernaut.
H&M says the ads aim to capture the many sides of women, showing Blue Ivy Carter’s mom as strong, vulnerable, sensual, fun, flirtatious and maternal.
The line hits H&M stores in May.
