A former FDNY EMT was sentenced to 89 years to life yesterday for sexually assaulting five Brooklyn girls and women – as relatives of the victims yelled out their hatred of the remorseless rapist.
Angus Pascall, 36, was convicted last month of the five attacks, including one of an 11-year-old girl he forced himself on after trapping her in an elevator with his FDNY key.
“As a parent you tell your child that you’ll always protect them,” the girl’s mother said in Brooklyn Supreme Court yesterday.
“Because of your actions, Mr. Pascall, I am now a liar to my daughter. I wasn’t there to protect her from the evil that is you.”
Pascall walked into the packed courtroom clutching a thick bible in his handcuffed hands.
One of Pascall’s family members yelled back, “Shut the f--- up!” before court officers restored order.
Pascall testified in his own defense during the trial, but his arrogance turned the mostly-female jury against him, several jurors said after convicting him.
