Chris Brown is the latest celebrity to fall victim to the "swatting" prank that's sweeping Hollywood.
Authorities descended on Brown's Hollywood Hills home Monday evening after they received a phone call reporting a domestic violence incident.
According to reports, Brown was not home at the time, but members of the singer's staff were. Police searched but found no evidence of any wrongdoing.
Back in 2009 authorities stormed Brown’s home following the infamous assault involving the R&B singer and his then girlfriend Rihanna. Despite the controversy surrounding their relationship, Brown and Rihanna still remain an item.
The “swatting” pranks are becoming a huge issue for celebrities these days. Over the weekend someone falsely reported an emergency at the Malibu home of Bruce and Kris Jenner, which sent Kim Kardashian on a Twitter rampage.
Other hoax calls have been made drawing police to the homes of Justin Bieber, Tom Cruise, Miley Cyrus and Ashton Kutcher.
