FRANKIE MUNIZ IN HOSPITAL

 Actor Frankie Muniz is at the center of a mysterious health scare.

The “Malcolm in the Middle” star suffered a “mini stroke” late last week, he revealed on Twitter Tuesday.

“I was in the hospital last Friday. I suffered a ‘Mini Stroke’, which was not fun at all,” he told his 158,000 online followers.

“Have to start taking care of my body! Getting old!” he tweeted.

A photo of Muniz looking passed out under a hospital blanket was posted on Instagram by his longtime girlfriend Elycia Turnbow Friday.


“Please be ok,” she wrote in the emotional photo caption.Muniz, 26, is wearing two plastic hospital bands on the arm of the hand that’s covering his face.

Muniz did not immediately return a call seeking comment Tuesday.

According to sources, the former child actor landed in the Arizona hospital near his home after he had trouble speaking and began “acting really weird.”

He’s awaiting test results that might help determine the stroke's cause, the website said.

Now a drummer in the band Kingsfoil, Muniz is scheduled to begin a tour later this week.

The band's first gig is in Teaneck, N.J., Sunday night.
