It looks like somewhere along the line Coolio forgot to show his son how to get to gangster's paradise. Instead, 22-year-old Grtis Ivey is going to jail for a minimum of 3.5 years.
On November 14, 2011 Ivey and a prostitute friend broke into a Las Vegas apartment, where Ivey held a man at gunpoint while his female accomplice pillaged the apartment. Ivey ended up pleading guilty for a reduction of felony charges from 4 to 1, making his probable sentence 3.5-10 years.
The judge will formally sentence Ivey on September 12.
