Bob Furnad On Surveillance Camera |
A former high-powered news executive took a neighborly dispute to the next level by leaving a bag of dog poop in his neighbor's mailbox — and it was all caught on camera.
The surveillance footage captured former CNN Headline News President Bob Furnad walking his dog up to the mailbox and shoving a plastic baggie inside, ABC News reported.
The owners of the mailbox, Benjamin Dameron and Ralph Miller, say they were preparing for a wedding at their home when they discovered the nasty surprise.
Furnad, who lives in Covington, Ga., admitted to committing the juvenile prank, but did not apologize.
“This was an immature act in response to years of malicious rumor mongering that I consider defamation of character,” the former CNN exec told the Covington News Thursday.Dameron told CBS Atlanta he has "no idea, no clue" about the feud Furnad claims has been going on between them.
Furnad faces a $180 fine for littering, according to CBS Atlanta.
His neighbors have decided not to press charges.
