VANESSA SIMMONS REVEALS SHE IS 5 MONTHS PREGNANT BY DAMON WAYAN'S SON MIKE

Vanessa Simmons is gearing up to be a new mom! Simmons, 30, revealed via Instagram on Monday, Sept. 30 that she's expecting her first child -- a baby girl! -- with boyfriend Mike Wayans, and reveals that she's already five months along.
"We are both very excited about the birth of our first child," the actress says. "We totally were expecting it to be [a] boy all along but got very surprised when we found out it was indeed a girl. I immediately went out and brought a cute [little] outfit for her right after the appointment."

Though the first-time mom-to-be was ecstatic about the news, there was one person she was afraid to tell -- her dad! Simmons' father, Run-D.M.C.'s Joseph Simmons, also goes by the stage name Rev. Run, and has often spoken out about his faith when the family starred in the MTV series Run's House from 2005 to 2009. 

"I was so nervous telling my dad at first being that I'm not married YET but he was very excited and is supportive 100 percent. His concern is just that I'm happy," she said. "Both families are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new baby girl. She's coming into two huge families waiting to give her lots of love." 

Wayans, 28, is the son of famous actor and comedian Damon Wayans, and his brother is former Happy Endings star Damon Wayans Jr. Simmons and Wayans have been dating for eight years, and are set to welcome their little one in February.

"We are still deciding on a name," Simmons added. "I definitely want something with meaning so it's taking a bit of time deciding."
