QUEENS MAN RELEASED FROM PRISON FATALLY GUNNED DOWN IN FRONT OF HIS NIECES

Ocean Bay housing development, Queens NY

A man was released from state prison on Monday—and gunned down in Queens in front of his three young nieces by Friday, police sources said.

The shooter opened fire on Keith Gulley, 22, and his brother, 36, about 8:15 p.m. in Arverne at the Ocean Bay housing development on Beach Channel Drive, cops said.
The brother’s daughters — ages, 5, 8, and 10 - watched the shooter wound their father in the back, and kill their uncle, sources said. He then ran off.
Gulley died at St. John’s Hospital, while the brother was listed in stable condition at Jamaica Hospital.
The slain man had been released from the Five Points prison in Romulus on Monday. He began serving time in July 2010 for criminal possession of a weapon.
He went by the nickname Bunky.
He had seventeen prior arrests, including possession of an ice pick, attempted murder, and drug possession, sources added.
