FLAVOR FLAV ARRAIGNED ON FELONY CHARGES OF ASSAULT AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT

FLAVOR FLAV & LIZ TRUJILLO
A judge ruled yesterday that there’s enough evidence that Flavor Flav threatened his longtime girlfriend’s 17-year-old son with a butcher knife for the entertainer to stand trial on two felony charges.
The clock-wearing 54-year-old former rap and reality-TV star didn’t testify during an evidence hearing yesterday, but the teen did.
The judge scheduled an April 18 arraignment on felony charges of assault with a weapon and child endangerment.
The entertainer, whose legal name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr., is expected to plead not guilty.
Liz, who is the mother of Flavor’s 5-year-old child Karma, allegedly had her earring ripped out during the physical altercation.
Her son fled to his sister’s bedroom when the rapper chased him. The caller advised she had been involved in a physical altercation with her fiancé who was identified as William Drayton.

After an investigation, Drayton was arrested and charged with Battery Domestic Violence and Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Prior to this arrest, Flavor spent a month in prison for assaulting his then-girlfriend in 1991, and three months behind bars for shooting at a neighbor in New York three years later.
Drayton could face up to 12 years in prison if convicted.
