NFL POSTGAME MUSH BY TRENT WILLIAMS ON SEAHAWKS RICHARD SHERMAN'S FACE

Richard Sherman talked the talked, then he walked the walked. And then he got punched in the face.
The mouthy Seattle Seahawks cornerback, who spent much of the past week correctly theorizing that Washington Redskins receivers wouldn't have success on his secondary, was pushed in the face by Redskins offensive lineman Trent Williams following Seattle's 24-14 victory in Sunday's NFC wild card game.
In video that was aired on Fox, the two players meet in the middle of a postgame scrum at midfield and exchange words. Suddenly, Williams shoves a right hand in Sherman's face.
You'll recognize Sherman's post-shove reaction as the one made by every guy who's ever been punched after provoking a barfight. He raised his hands in the air like an innocent passerby who has no idea why he'd be the subject of such violence.
"What is this?! My taunting words are going to have physical repercussions from the target of said words? I never could have imagined such a scenario!"
Sherman has been the source of postgame taunts before, including this year after a win against the New England Patriots. It's just that when you say, "you mad, bro?" to Tom Brady, he's wise enough not to get dirty in that scuffle. Trent Williams, on the other hand, was willing to go there.

That video makes it look pretty clear that Williams hit Sherman in the face, though perhaps an appeal will determine that a breach in protocol means Williams never shoved him at all.
UPDATE: Sherman tweeted a message two hours after the incident, saying Williams sent him a "very classy text."
Received a very classy text from . Great player! This is an emotional game no ill will either way. Have a great Pro Bowl! Well deserved
