NYPD OFFICER COULD FACE LIFE IN PRISON FOR PLOT TO KIDNAP, COOK, AND EAT WOMEN

Alleged NYPD cannibal wannabe Gilberto Valle has something new to chew on — a federal indictment.

A Manhattan federal grand jury yesterday handed up charges of kidnapping conspiracy and illegally accessing a law-enforcement database against Valle, 28.

The two felony counts are the same ones on which he was busted last month.

According to the feds, Valle schemed online with unidentified others to abduct, cook and eat the body parts of several women — including one whom Valle is believed to have stalked while in uniform and behind the wheel of a police car.

Valle has been repeatedly denied bail since his shocking arrest. He is scheduled for arraignment on Monday, and if convicted, he could face up to life in prison.

His public defender did not return a request for comment.

But attorney Michelle Mechanic, who represents one of the women the cop allegedly targeted, declared herself "pleased" with the grand jury's decision.
