He has alleged they had an affair in 1996 despite the fact he was married, and that she made him believe he fathered her first child Zion David, who is now 15-years-old.
But reggae legend Bob Marley's son Rohan had dated her from 1996 until 2004, and tells told his rival 'knew from jump that was my son from the day [Lauryn] was pregnant.'
The former college sports star admits the couple had a casual relationship before he came on the scene, but added he is sure it ended because it was the rapper who set them up.
He said: 'They were definitely not messing around, or he would never have given me the okay.'
He also said he and Lauryn were together in studio sessions around the clock back then, so there wouldn't even be time for her to have the alleged affair.

Rohan, who ended up having five children with the singer before they split up, added he thinks the rapper is 'just saying false things to get book headlines,' and he has no plans to confront him because 'he knows he is fronting himself.'
However the Haitian songwriter, who is still married to his wife of 18 years Marie Claudinette, is standing by his story.
He said: 'There is no way that I would have shown up in the hospital in that circumstance to wait for a baby to be born if it was not mine.
