JIMMY "HITMAN" HENCHMAN NEW CHARGE

A hip-hop mogul recently convicted of narcotics trafficking was hit yesterday with a new rap: murder for hire.
James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond was indicted for allegedly ordering a 2009 killing as payback for an assault on his 14-year-old son.
Although the crime carries the death penalty, a spokeswoman said Manhattan federal prosecutors would not seek capital punishment for Rosemond, 47.
Victim Lowell Fletcher was gunned down in The Bronx about two years after pleading guilty to smacking Rosemond’s son, known as “Lil Henchman,” as he stood on a sidewalk in Midtown.
Fletcher’s death, which allegedly was paid for in drugs, came just weeks after he was sprung from prison after serving time for the attack and an unrelated drug rap.
Rosemond’s defense lawyer, Gerald Shargel, declined to comment.
