Tupac Is Resurrected In Snoop Concert At Coachella

The late Tupac Shakur, who passed away in 1996, was brought back to life over the weekend for a much anticipated performance at the annual Coachella concert. Performing courtesy of a hologram machine, Pac showcased various classics Sunday (April 15) night.
Snoop Dogg, who was headlining, sang a duet with the deceased rapper at the Coachella festival. They were also joined by Dr. Dre. The best-selling star appeared to the sound of screaming fans after a tribute performance of his song "California Love." On the final night of the festival (15 April) the Tupac hologram performed "Hail Mary", the final single from his last album The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, before Snoop Dogg joined him on stage for a performance of "Ain't Nothin' Like a Gangsta Party."
Shocked from what she saw, Grammy-winning singer Rihanna tweeted her reaction.
"TupacBACK #unbelievable #IWASTHERE #STORY4myGrandKidz," she tweeted Sunday night. (Rihanna's Twitter)
The Roots' Questlove also shared a similar reaction after seeing the deceased rapper performing.
"That Pac Hologram haunted me in my sleep. Rest In Peace 2pac.......#OkIWill!!!!!!!!!!," he tweeted. (Questlove's Twitter)
Outside of Pac, Snoop Dogg had some other high profile artists join him on stage.
Snoop and Dre were also joined by Eminem, who performed "I Need a Doctor" and "Forgot About Dre" with his mentor. He also ripped through "Till I Collapse." 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa and newcomer Kendrick Lamar also made appearances, as the night proved to be a celebration of rap's heavy hitters, old-school classics and almost-old school hits ("In Da Club," anyone?).
